Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, is a form used to verify the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States. Employers must complete Form I-9 for all employees, including citizens and noncitizens. The paper version of Form I-9 is available for use by employers who are not able to complete the form electronically.
