Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 - Mar 2016

The Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 is utilized by U.S. employers to confirm the identity and work authorization of individuals they hire. Employers must retain the filled-out form for each employee for three years from the hire date or one year after the position concludes, whichever comes later.

All employers in the United States who hire employees for wages or other remuneration must complete Form I-9.

The completed form should be submitted to the employer's records and retained for each employee for three years following the hire date or one year after the termination of employment, whichever occurs later.
