Interview Score Sheet

An Interview Score Sheet is a document used to evaluate candidates objectively based on specific qualifications and competencies during the hiring process. It includes rating scales for skills, experience, problem-solving abilities, cultural fit and communication. This form helps interviewers compare candidates fairly, ensure consistency in hiring decisions and provide a clear record of each applicant’s strengths and weaknesses.

Interviewers, hiring managers or recruitment panel members fill in an interview evaluation sheet to assess candidates based on predefined criteria. Each interviewer may complete a separate score sheet to ensure objective assessments.

The completed interview form is submitted to the HR department or hiring manager. Some companies use an applicant tracking system (ATS) to store and analyze scores, while others keep physical or digital copies for internal review.
