Te Whare Tapa Whā Four Walls of Wellbeing Exercise

Boost wellbeing awareness with the Te Whare Tapā Wha Four Walls of Wellbeing Exercise from Komodo Wellbeing! Created by leading Māori health advocate Sir Mason Durie, the Te Whare Tapa Whā model conceptualises wellbeing as a holistic experience supported by multiple areas of life in this case represented by the pillars of a house. This exercise uses this model to break down wellbeing into 5 categories and encourages students to consider each category, when thinking about their overall wellbeing. This activity can be used by students of all ages.
