Form MET 1E is used to report the Maryland estate tax liability of a decedent who died in 2019 or later. Personal representatives or fiduciaries of a decedent who was a resident of Maryland or whose estate includes property located in Maryland should fill out this form and submit it to the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation, Estate Tax Unit, P.O. Box 828, Annapolis, MD 21404-0828.
