Lumin now works with Claude

Today we're making Lumin's full document toolset available in Claude. Connect Lumin once, and Claude can create documents, send them for legally compliant signing, track their progress, and file the completed records. It all happens in conversation, across the Claude web app, desktop app, and Claude Code.

What you can do

With the Lumin connector, Claude can act on your documents end to end:

Create documents. Turn drafted content into a professional PDF, or generate documents from your team's templates.

Organize your workspace. Upload, search, and retrieve documents across your Lumin workspaces.

Send signature requests. Route documents to the right signers, in the right order, with legally compliant digital signatures.

Track and follow up. Check signing status, send reminders, and adjust deadlines without opening a dashboard.

Keep the record. Retrieve the completed, signed document the moment everyone has signed.

How it works

Ask in plain language, and Claude chains the steps for you:

"Send our standard NDA to the three vendors from this morning's email. Signing deadline Friday."

Claude generates the NDA from your template, sends it to each signer with the deadline attached, and can report back on who has signed at any point. A request that takes around 6 minutes of manual work (download, upload, configure, send) completes in about 20 seconds.

Follow-ups work the same way: "Has the vendor signed yet?" is now both the question and the answer.

One toolset, every surface

With this release, the Lumin connector runs on a single shared tool registry across all Claude surfaces. The capabilities you get in the Claude web app are identical in the desktop app and in Claude Code. When we ship new tools, they appear everywhere at once.

For developers

The same tools are available in Claude Code through the Lumin MCP server. You can build document generation, signature requests, and status tracking into your own products and internal workflows — contract pipelines, onboarding flows, compliance automation — without building a document integration from scratch.

Available now

The Lumin connector is available today in the Claude connectors directory for Claude web and desktop users. Developers can add the Lumin MCP server to Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible environment.
